About Your Instructor
Seth Goot is the founder of SGMA and a seasoned music producer with over 7 years of experience in the music and entertainment industry. Currently based in Los Angeles, supporting six-time Grammy Award winner Glen Ballard at AUGURY, Seth has worked on innovative music projects for film, television, and theater. His production expertise spans collaborations with Grammy-nominated producers like Emile Ghantous (Snoop Dogg, Ava Maybee, Boyz II Men) and Kevin Randolph (Drake, J. Cole, JAY-Z) at Electric Blue Studios, as well as engineering live shows for iconic artists such as Santana, Stevie Nicks, and The Black Keys. With a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering and Sound Production from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and a Certification in Electronic Music Composition from Berklee College of Music, Seth brings a wealth of technical and creative knowledge to his music production courses. Passionate about empowering the next generation, Seth’s courses offer high school and middle school students industry-leading tools and techniques, inspired by his work with some of the biggest names in music.
